THE ROOMS

From comfortable, well appointed bedrooms to spacious and elegant reception rooms, visitors can be assured that Tomatin House is both relaxing and functional. With nine bedrooms on the first floor, including the master suite with adjoining bathroom, a stay at Tomatin is perfect for unwinding with family and friends.  Please note smoking is not allowed in the house.

  • Nine bedrooms include an elegant master bedroom with en-suite, plus one further double, four twin and 3 single rooms.

  • The dining room is perfect for sumptuous dining, with a magnificent mahogany table seating 12-15.

  • The spacious drawing room, with an open fire, is ideal for relaxing and entertaining. It is most enticing for winding down at the end of the day with a wee dram of Highland whisky.

  • A cosy, smaller sitting room has a smart TV and and open fire.

  • Utility rooms include the playroom - perfect for storing sports equipment and other outdoor gear, laundry and side porch for coats and pets!

  • Large kitchen, larder and butler's pantry.

Tomatin House is a stunning house in a fantastic location on the banks of the River Findhorn. We were a group of 13 and the house was very well equipped with everything needed for a lovely stay including plenty of sports/games etc. The hosts were very communicative and very helpful whenever we had any queries or wanted suggestions. Definitely recommend if visiting Highlands/Inverness.

THE GROUNDS

The extensive grounds offer a welcome seclusion from city life, and a sense of tranquility, ideal for unwinding during your stay in the Highlands.

Featuring the best of Scottish landscapes, from towering forests to the winding river, there's plenty of space to make the most of the outdoors during your stay at Tomatin.  Picnics, BBQs, croquet, power hooping, rounders and tennis can all be enjoyed within the grounds.

The garden is shared with a wonderful selection of wildlife - deer, rabbits and hares frequently meander across the front lawn. In the skies above, renowned birds of prey including eagles, buzzards and hawks swoop and soar, giving guests an incredible view of nature at its best.

Fantastic house with lots of room and plenty to entertain - Susan.
